‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 17 video: ‘Girl Meets Rileytown’ hints at a secret

Is Riley about to be exposed on Friday night’s upcoming “Girl Meets World” episode? We wouldn’t quite say that, but the promo below does make it clear that Riley has some sort of secret that some of her friends are getting close to starting to find out. The title for the episode is “Girl Meets Rileytown,” but for the most part, nobody really knows precisely what “Rileytown” is at the moment. Maybe it is some sort of fictional community that she has created?

Ultimately, the video below is one that fans of the show celebrate, if for no other reason than that the Disney Channel actually did release some footage of what to expect that is relevant and makes some sense. That is something that they have not done for all of the second season.

Is it fair to expect quite a bit from this episode? Probably, since this is the last episode of September … but it’s far from the past episode of the fall. While “Girl Meets World” had developed a pattern of giving you three episodes and then a repeat throughout the summer, that is not happening here. This episode is going to be followed by a series of other ones, including the Halloween special and “Girl Meets Texas,” a three-part event that is going to be taking place this weekend.

While this episode does feel like it will be strong in many ways, it does feel safe to say to not expect nearly the same sort of “Boy Meets World” homages as last time. That is a little bit of a special case for the most part.
