‘Bones’ season 11, episode 2 spoilers: ‘The Brother in the Basement’

“Bones” season 11 is starting off this season with a big mystery, and that is the secret whereabouts of Booth. We know that eventually he will make his way back to the rest of the cast, but based on what we know at this particular moment, it’s not going to happen right away.

The second episode of the season is entitled “The Brother in the Basement,” and you can get some other news in terms of what to expect below (via SpoilerTV):

“Another layer is added to the mystery of Booth’s whereabouts and the state of his physical condition when the team learns that FBI Agent Miller (guest star Kim Raver) has not been entirely truthful with the FBI and the Jeffersonian, keeping vital information from them that could lead them to Booth. Meanwhile, the Jeffersonian gets a surprise visitor, FBI digital forensic scientist Dr. Benjamin Metzger (guest star Josh Casaubon), who works with Angela to try to decode the information the team has been able to uncover regarding Booth’s location and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Also, Arastoo makes a major decision that affects his and Cam’s personal and professional relationship.”

We imagine that Cam and Arastoo are far from the only characters who are going to have some big moments early on. So much time has passed on the show between the end of season 10 and the start of season 11, and one of the things that the show is going to have to deal with is the whole notion of just what has changed in that time. How have these people evolved while Brennan was away from the Jeffersonian, and once she returns, is it possible that the place can be the same as it once was?
