‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: First details from ‘Green Arrow’ premiere!

Thanks to The CW releasing a variety of details about some of their shows on Thursday, great news is upon us! At the moment, there is certainly not a shortage of great things to report about when it comes to a number of your favorite shows.

Today, this includes “Arrow,” and the first look at an episode entitled “Green Arrow” that we have heard a lot about for some time. If you look at the synopsis below, it gives you a sense in particular of how Oliver Queen gets back into Star City; not only that, but also some of the tension that arises almost right away between himself and John Diggle:

“Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) blissful getaway is cut short when Thea (Willa Holland) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) pay them a visit and tell Oliver they need his help back in Star City. The city has been attacked by “Ghosts,” assassins led by a dangerous man named Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). However, when Oliver returns, Diggle (David Ramsey) makes it very clear that he doesn’t want Oliver on the team.”

The one interesting thing is that McDonough is mentioned here as a guest star, when we were of the belief that he was going to be more or less a regular this season. It is already something new to be interested to the primarily villain this season right away; it took a few weeks last year before we started to meet Ra’s al Ghul, and while we knew Slade Wilson well going into season 2, we don’t think it was until “Three Ghosts” when it was clear he was the Big Bad.
