‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 13 (finale) spoilers: What ‘The Wrath of the Lamb’ will bring
We all know that “Hannibal” has the capacity to be a twisted, insane show … and it did this and then some on Saturday night’s episode. As a matter of fact, this episode may contain the most disgusting thing that we’ve ever seen on the show, let alone network TV.
So where do you go from here? The finale / possibly the series finale is entitled “The Wrath of the Lamb,” and this name of course should bring back certain memories for longtime fans. It will potentially close the door on the Red Dragon, and also give you the foundation to what was one of the most-famous movies in recent history in one way or another:
“In a desperate bid to slay Francis Dolarhyde (guest star Richard Armitage), Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) engineers a cunning ploy utilizing Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen). Upon learning of his plan, Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) voices concerns that Will’s actions may not only put his life in peril, but the lives of those around him. As the end draws near, Will remains unflinching in his game with Hannibal-even when it means coming face-to-face with his own darkest fears.”
It’s interesting how the show could wrap up here, given that many events of “The Silence of the Lambs” have happened on the show in some form already, and the series has not been able to bring on Clarice as of yet. We’re very interested in seeing how the show ties everything up, and if they give you anywhere near a conclusive ending.
