‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 11: Are there clues in new ‘Hastings’ poster?
Anytime that you mix “Pretty Little Liars” and the internet, you know that one thing is going to more or less happen: Debate. Sometimes, this is friendly speculation about a clue or a teaser, and then other times it is an angry reaction to something that fans don’t like. We’ve definitely seen both in the past month alone.
With the reveal that CeCe / Charlotte is “A” and that Sara Harvey was Black Widow, we are for the most part moving forward to the second half of the season, and part of the fun that comes along with that is speculating what has happened to some of our favorite characters in the time in which they have been away. When it comes to Spencer Hastings, this simply means more or less taking a gander at the poster Troian Bellisario on her Instagram page.
What does this mean? Let’s look at this factually. It’s a poster with Spencer’s last name, and also mentions of London. We already know that she has a connection to London, but we also saw her heading to Washington DC presumably to Georgetown. Can she really be in both places? Then again, we are jumping ahead five years, and she could have finished university in maybe three or four.
For right now, the only thing that we can say is this: Maybe it’s just a pretty cool poster! Maybe she likes that her last name is on it. Fans of this show do have a sort of tendency to rampantly speculate on almost anything and everything, so it’s understandable that they would be doing so here. Plus, it’s not really a story spoiler one way or another, since it’s not like Spencer’s whereabouts severely inform where the story is going to go moving forward in any real way.
