‘Longmire’ season 4: Watch premiere sneak peek featuring Robert Taylor, Lou Diamond Phillips

Yesterday, we wrote about the first teaser promo coming out for the upcoming fourth season of “Longmire,” and today we’re getting even more evidence of just what Netflix is doing to promote the show. For all those who bemoaned the lack of great promotion from A&E, you’ll love this.

The sneak peek below is from the show’s upcoming premiere episode streaming on September 10, and it is a fairly simple one to describe: You have Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) chasing after a plane with his rifle, and he is eventually tackled by Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) before he has a chance to use it. Walt seems to be after revenge for what happened to his wife, and he believes that Jacob Nighthorse is aboard the plane.

Hopefully, Henry’s words start to ring true for him once they have a minute or two to actually catch their breath. Henry knows that this is not what Martha would have wanted, and this is a chance for both of them to have a chance to handle this the right way. Henry’s seeking out his own form of redemption this season, given that he is coming off of that tense prison storyline for the third season.

It’s a very captivating sneak peek for the most part, a visual marvel, and yet another reminder that everything is going to feel bigger for the fourth season. Just the fact that we have a scene involving Walt trying to shoot a plane out of the sky is remarkable in its own right.
