‘Longmire’ season 4 promo airs; watch now!

We come today bearing some good news and bad news regarding “Longmire” season 4 … but it’s mostly good news. A new promo was unveiled for the show on tonight’s new episode of “Access Hollywood,” but we haven’t found a version that we can post online yet.

We can at least describe the preview for you now, and it’s a visual marvel. Using a really stark color palette of dark red alongside black-and-white images, the clip highlighted many of the characters, including Vic (Katee Sackhoff) and Walt (Robert Taylor), and depicted the landscape as someone sparse and ominous. It also gave you the following line in narration: “Sometimes a man gets a second chance. It’s not that you come back; it’s how you come back that matters.”

We of course love this line, since it is an homage to the show’s canceled fate at A&E, and how the show is coming back with a theme of redemption. This translates well to the story, as Walt has to figure out what to do with what he has learned about his wife’s death, and what he could know in the event he ever gets a chance to speak with Branch again. We’re going to keep Bailey Chase’s fate on the series a secret until the show returns on September 10 with new episodes.

Hopefully, we’ll have the video to share here in this article as soon as it is available. It doesn’t really give much away in terms of the story, but take our word for it that it’s one of the cooler videos we’ve seen so far this year.
