‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 9 preview: Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, and prom in ‘Last Dance’

Throughout the past several years on “Pretty Little Liars,” we have seen our leading ladies go through many touchstones of the high school experience. However, few ultimately strike the emotional chord that prom does. This is an opportunity for them to actually have a little bit of normalcy in their lives … at least in theory. The problem for the Liars here is that it seems like no matter what they do, normalcy is going to be a very hard thing for them to come by.

“Last Dance” is the title for this episode, and we are going to see Charles deciding that he wants to find a way to corrupt the prom for Aria, Emily, and more, which is being held separately from the rest of Rosewood High, and make it into a living hell. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“It is prom time at Rosewood High, except for Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer who have been banned due to “security” concerns. As the girls see this as the final humiliating blow to their high school careers, the girls’ mothers try to make the best of a bad situation by offering a home prom in Spencer’s barn. At first reluctant, the PLLs agree and try to make the best out of a bad situation. But one to never miss a formal, Charles has other plans in store to make this a night they will never forget.

“Meanwhile, Veronica, Pam, Ashley and Ella use prom night to touch base on everything that has happened to their daughters.”

Let’s hope for some great character moments for Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, and the rest of the cast; we’ll have some other news throughout the week.
