‘Secrets & Lies’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Lost’ alum Terry O’Quinn secures major role

For those of who on the fence about whether or not to check out “Secrets & Lies” season 2, we now come to you with a pretty good reason to give it a chance: The opportunity to Terry O’Quinn on board. Even if you were not a fan of the “Lost” Ending there’s no denying tat John Locke was a total boss.

According to a new report coming in right now via Deadline, “Lost” alum Terry O’Quinn has been cast to play the role of John Warner, the head of a private equity firm who is ready to retire and turn most of his business over to his son Eric (Michael Ealy who was incredible in “Almost Human” if you haven’t checked out that show). However, this becomes complicated rather quickly when Eric’s wife is found dead. With this in mind, almost everything could be put on hold while the case is sorted out.

The only returning cast member from this first season is Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis), who is going to be doing everything that she can to uncover the truth behind another difficult case. What we wonder for now is this: Does the presence of her as a returning character render it impossible for the show to be selected in the Outstanding Limited Series category at the Emmys?

The second season of “Secrets & Lies” is not going to be premiering until some point early in 2015. With that in mind, stay tuned; we imagine that there are going to be many more casting scoops to announce here in due time.
