‘The Originals’ season 3 spoilers: Nathaniel Buzolic on Kol’s return
It would be an understatement and then some in order to say that Nathaniel Buzolic is a popular actor on The CW. He was beloved on “The Vampire Diaries,” and was great in the time that we’ve seen him on “The Originals.” We even wanted to see “Supernatural: Bloodlines” because of his role, even though we felt that the show was not the greatest in the world.
So how much are we going to see Nathaniel bring back the original (natch) Kol on “The Originals” season 3? As the actor himself told TVLine in a new interview, this is a role that he hopes to reprise on a fairly basis, even though his “Significant Mother” role does limit his time at least a little bit:
“I made it clear when I signed on to Significant Mother that I wanted to also be available for The Originals if the opportunity came up … I’m incredibly grateful to Julie Plec for giving me that opportunity; being a part of that show has been a life-changing experience for me. I’ll always have a soft spot for that character.”
Buzolic also claimed that “The Originals” is going to be a “flashback-heavy” season for the most part, and given how much history that there is with these characters, that means that there will almost always be opportunities for more people to show up over the years.
The new season of “The Originals” will premiere come Thursday, October 8, and be sure to stay tuned for some more news! There are a variety of other guest stars still to come…
