‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Echo Kellum set to be Mr. Terrific!

Oliver -Yes, we’re going to get all of our “terrific” puns out of the way in this first sentence … mostly because we really feel like this particular “Arrow” casting news is terrific.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Echo Kellum has been cast in the recurring role of Curtis Holt, a brilliant man with technology expertise who works at Palmer Technologies. He may end up in time going by another nickname in Mr. Terrific, and he actually is supervised by none other than Felicity Smoak. This is one of the latest new comic-book characters that the show is introducing for the new season, and he has an interesting history that will make him a fun person to watch over the course of the episodes ahead.

Our appreciation for Kellum’s work started with “Ben and Kate,” which was a relatively short-lived Fox comedy that featured a variety of other fun people including Lucy Punch, Nat Faxon, and a certain someone E.J. James fans probably know very well at this point in Dakota Johnson. He’s got a good energy about him as a performer, and that will work well alongside Emily Bett Rickards. While Brandon Routh is one of the stars of the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow,” we do still envision that he is going to turn up at some point as Ray Palmer on this show, as well. He has really been far too ingrained in the series for that to not happen.

The “Arrow” premiere is coming on October 7, and the other new characters are going to be everyone from Damien Darhk to Anarky. We’re going to have further news soon!
