‘Major Crimes’ season 4, episode 7 preview: The Special Operations Bureau returns!
At one point in time, it looked seriously like the Special Operations Bureau on “Major Crimes” were going to get their own spin-off show. While that did not exactly happen, the good news that we do have is that they are going to be seen for a story arc moving forward. This begins on the next new episode entitled “Targets of Opportunity,” which airs on TNT next week. The synopsis below does a good job of making it clear why the SOB is involved, and also just how intense and important this case really is:
“After a shooting leaves two LA police officers dead, the Major Crimes unit must work with the Deputy Chief of the LAPD Special Operations Bureau, Fritz Howard (Jon Tenney), to piece together a high stakes case involving a fugitive witness. Meanwhile, Rusty works with the team on the case in order to secretly gather more background information to support his own, journalistic investigation into the life of the girl who called herself Alice Herrera.”
We don’t ultimately expect any answers to all of these stories completely in this episode; we know that Jon Tenney is slated to at least appear in one more episode after this one (if we are to believe another synopsis). The same goes for the continuation of the Alice Herrera case.
This is going to be a fascinating few episodes coming up, and we are very much intrigued to see what happens next.
