‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 trailer: Andrew Lincoln, Lennie James take center stage

Rick -A power struggle. After watching the new Comic-Con trailer below for “The Walking Dead” season 6, that is a pretty easy way to describe what we are about to see, other than of course a Rick Grimes covered in a ton of bandages.

What this promo is really effective at is showing us that the show is really upping the ante when it comes to bringing zombies onto the screen. Some of the ones that we are about to see may very well be the most terrifying and nasty that we’ve seen to date … and they also happen to be coming in huge numbers. This is the biggest walker presence that we’ve seen in any trailer so far, and they have one goal: Leveling Alexandria to the ground and infecting as many others as they possibly can. (That is, if they are even aware of the goal at all.)

What we find the most interesting, meanwhile, is the back-and-forth between Andrew Lincoln’s character and Morgan (Lennie James), who arrived at Alexandria at the end of last season and may present himself as a more palatable alternative to Rick as the leader of the town. Like Rick, he is someone who has spent the majority of his time since the Apocalypse off fighting to stay alive. However, he has clearly also went about it in a very different way, and relied on other skills.

Is Rick starting to go too far, and are any of these people really going to want to follow him? After watching this video, it definitely feels like these are questions that you really should be wondering to yourself.
