‘Bachelor in Paradise’ season 2 promo all about Clare Crawley and the raccoon

We give Clare Crawley a little bit of credit for having the guys to return to “Bachelor in Paradise,” mostly because of the editing job that they did on her back during the first season. Of course, how could you forget the time that she got really upset and seemed to have a conversation with a raccoon? We really feel like what happened here is just that she needed to talk things out, a raccoon happened to be nearby, and a notable TV moment was born.

Even if you did somehow forget about this conversation, ABC is clearly doing what they can to ensure that you remember in the latest promo below for the two-night premiere on August 2. This is all about Clare and her “friend,” and is of course every bit of cheesy as you would expect.

Clare is going to be joined by a variety of new contestants in Mexico for the second season, and it will include many contestants from the past two seasons that featured Chris Soules and Kaitlyn Bristowe as leads. One of the things that makes this particular “competition” intriguing is that there really is no method in some ways to the madness (and it is madness). Contestants from different seasons can come back multiple times, especially since there is no real prize other than love … and maybe airtime.

Maybe Clare and many other people will find love this season. Or, maybe someone else will find a new animal or two to speak to. Since we know the cast was at a different location this season, we don’t imagine that the same raccoon is making the trip.
