‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3, episode 5 preview: Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan in ‘The Most Dangerous Beast’

BatB -The title for next week’s new “Beauty and the Beast” episode was originally “Most Dangerous,” but since that time it has undergone a very simple-but-effective change. Now, it is “The Most Dangerous Beast,” and signs point to this being yet another intense episode. In following up the therapy session that we had with Cat and Vincent tonight, these two are going to be forced to deal with a variety of new problems. Two of them just so happen to be Bob and Carol, who are back to inflict some more potential damage. Given that they both have super-reflexes, we know already that they are not going to be easy to take down.

Hopefully, the synopsis below for this episode has enough information to suit your fancy; if nothing else, it does appear that JT is going to start to realize some of what the downside is to him having a newfound healing power:

“When Cat (Kristin Kreuk) is assigned to a new partner by Tess (Nina Lisandrello), she begins to suspect that Bob (guest star Alan Van Sprang) and Carol (guest star Natasha Henstridge) have re-surfaced to separate her from Vincent (Jay Ryan) and hunt them both down. Meanwhile, a transformed JT (Austin Basis) discovers that his newfound healing ability comes at a terrible cost.”

We anticipate the next episode being a little more of the straight-laced variety when it comes to pace, and to be honest we are more than fine with that. You want to mix things up, and this sounds like a story that will bring in some different layers and wrinkles that we did not see on “Heart of the Matter.”
