‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3 reportedly will not be at Comic-Con
While “Sleepy Hollow” is in many ways the perfect show for San Diego Comic-Con, unfortunately there are some developments right now when it comes to why it won’t be there. According to an unofficial blog about the event, scheduling issues due to an early production date for season 3 are making it impossible for the cast and crew to be in attendance this season.
We understand that everyone who is a fan wants to see the show present here, and given the circumstances this one feels especially like a big loss. This is a show that is coming off of a second season that is not exactly thought of altogether fondly. As a result of that we have a massive changing of the guard creatively, we’re losing both Katia Winter and John Noble as regulars, and the show is venturing into more of unfamiliar territory. This could have been a chance to really advertise the changes and get longtime fans excited again about a show that does have some potential.
Ultimately, though, we’re happy that they will be hard at work on new episodes, and trying to impress you from the ground up with season 3. The show will return to Fox come October 1 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, and to this date producers have managed to be extremely tight-lipped about what to expect. That’s not always an easy thing to do.
As soon as some further updates on the show are announced, you better believe that we are going to have them for you here. A good link to keep track of is our archive page here. Hopefully more is coming soon.
