The CW fall schedule: ‘Arrow’ season 4, ‘The Flash’ season 2, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7 premiere dates

The latest -It may be officially fair to say now that “The Flash” is the flagship show in The CW’s arsenal. After all, it is now what the network is using to catapult into the fall season! The network made their premiere dates official on Wednesday, and for the most part, we really cannot say that we are too surprised by any of them. Most are dates that you more than likely saw coming a while go, with the only real surprise being that “Jane the Virgin” and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” are coming on a little later than most of the others. (Clearly, The CW does not want to air programming on Columbus Day or something.)

As always, all of the times listed below are Eastern Standard, so adjust accordingly depending on your location.

Tuesday, October 6

8:00 – “The Flash”

9:00 – “iZombie”

Wednesday, October 7

8:00 – “Arrow”

9:00 – “Supernatural”

Thursday, October 8

8:00 – “The Vampire Diaries”

9:00 – “Reign”

Friday, October 9

8:00 – “Reign”

9:00 – “America’s Next Top Model” (which technically premieres on August 5)

Monday, October 19

8:00 – “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”

9:00 – “Jane the Virgin”

As a whole, not a bad lineup from the folks over at The CW, though we are not entirely sure that they are going to be setting the world on fire with this, either. It’s almost exactly the same as they’ve done ever since they first made the move to start the fall season in October rather than September, which was a move to separate themselves ever so slightly from the rest of the competition in the fall. That in itself has shown over time to be a very smart move.
