‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3, episode 2 ratings: Was ‘Primal Fear’ a step in a new direction

BatB -The third season of “Beauty and the Beast” is an interesting cast study, at least when it comes to ratings on The CW. What does the network expect when you consider that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season? There is no real reason to worry about the numbers of the time being, or at least so long as the show stays reasonably consistent. We feel like for now, the expectations are somewhat in the 0.2-0.3 range in the 18-49 demographic.

Ultimately, the series pulled out a 0.3 for its episode “Primal Fear,” which aired on Thursday night. This is a rating in the demo that is just about even with what we saw with the premiere. That means that there wasn’t just a rush of people to see “The Beast of Wall Street” only to then stop watching later.

One of the things that we’ve seen time and time again is that these show fans are among the most devoted out there. One other interesting thing to remember here is that the show actually airs days earlier in Canada, and we do wonder what sort of impact that ultimately has on the numbers, if any. You do have to consider the Canadian ratings in here to a certain extent, along with many other countries in which the show is success.

What we are saying here in the end is that there are reasons why this show has already been given an additional season next year, and much of that is due to both its studio (CBS TV, one of the partners in the CW) and also the international success.
