‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: The writing process begins!

Once -While you know that “Once Upon a Time” is already in the process of casting some new roles for season 5, including a famous King Arthur, you should also know this: The show is also in the process of getting some script work completed, as well!

In a post on social media (see below) executive producer Adam Horowitz made it clear that he has started work on the show’s premiere script, which probably comes after a number of discussions with the writers about some of the overall story arcs. This script will be completed before filming begins next month in Vancouver, and the actors will have a chance to take it for a test run.

Now that we have said all of this, the intriguing thing about season 5 is that there is at least a certain element of mystery at the moment when it comes to the story coming up. The biggest cliffhanger that we have is Emma Swan potentially becoming the new Dark One, and even still this is a very different sort of ending than going to a new world like Neverland, or having the super-stunning appearance of Queen Elsa on the show in the season 4 finale. That may go down as one of the most surprising cliffhangers that we’ve seen on TV period over the course of the past several years.

We’re looking forward to the chance to talk all about this season over the course of the weeks ahead, so be on the lookout for all sorts of scoop very soon!
