‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: The writers are back in action!

Given that the writers for “Arrow” have returned to work today on the upcoming fourth season, is it really that big of a surprise at all that the writers of “The Flash” are also back at it? The show’s team confirmed the news in a post on Twitter, saying that there is “lots of fun stuff” ahead for them moving forward.

In this particular instance, we definitely believe them. This is a series that left off on such an enormous cliffhanger that we really have almost zero clue how they are going to be able to create a world that feels even remotely normal again. We’re looking at the possibility of several different universes, time travel, and a wide array of potential new heroes and villains turning up. This is why we imagine that we really will not hear too much when it comes to plot spoilers on the new season until October.

For now, we’d at least assume that we are going to go down a road that could include seeing some more Killer Frost, learning what sort of role Tom Cavanagh really has now in the series, and also finding out what Gorilla Grodd still has in store for Barry Allen. There are many different possibilities for who could be the Big Bad of the upcoming season, but at least for the time being there has not been a single one confirmed.

Of course, we will have some other news soon when it comes to “The Flash.” Be on the lookout!
