‘Arrow’ season 4: See the first video tease via The CW

Arrow -How is Oliver Queen going to save Starling City on “Arrow” moving forward … or is he going to save Starling City? These are both valuable questions, and are ones teased in the vaguest of vague videos below from The CW. This video features executive producer Marc Guggenheim front and center, and it’s pretty clear after watching a few of these that the network had a strict gameplan for what they wanted here: A tiny tease about what could be coming, and a reminder from the showrunner that the series will be back in the fall. This is almost identical to the ones we’ve seen already for “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals.”

To us, there is almost no question that Oliver is going to return to be some sort of crime-fighter again, and maybe this is as simple as picking up a new costume and being the Green Arrow rather than just the Arrow now that the original “Vigilante” in Roy Harper is supposedly dead.

The biggest thing that we are excited to see now is hopefully the end of all the angst. Oliver knows now the sort of person that he wants to be, and the will-they-or-won’t-they with him and Felicity is now wrapped up. They can exist as a happy couple, and then focus mostly on taking down the bad guys. We expect a little more fun in the fourth season, even if we don’t suddenly want the show to have the same tone as “The Flash.”

Also, we expect Damien Dahrk, and this character should most likely be cast at some point over the next couple of months.
