‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 6 reaction: Sophie Turner reacts to Ramsay Bolton scene

Sansa StarkThe end of Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” episode was messed up for a variety of different reasons, but the most significant one is clearly having to witness what transpired between Sansa Stark and Ramsay Bolton. She has shown herself more and more to be a brave character, and we were hoping that there was a way for her to escape what was a terrible wedding night, one that Tyrion Lannister luckily did not make her go through in the past and one that Joffrey probably would have forced her into.

Obviously, you feel for Sansa in this moment, and Ramsay taking her virginity is made even worse potentially by the fact that Reek was more or less forced to stand there and watch the entire time. Sophie Turner was the actress front and center for the entire ordeal, and in speaking about the different between this and Joffrey to Entertainment Weekly, she laid the entire spectrum out of what Sansa fans were probably hoping to happen with her:

“After Joffrey, she’s escaped him and you think she’s going to lose her virginity to a guy who’s really sweet and takes care of her and she’s thrown in with a guy who’s a whole lot worse. But I kind of like the fact she doesn’t really know what a psycho he is until that night. She has a sense, but she’s more scared of his father. And then that night everything gets so f–ked up.”

The horror clearly is not over yet for Sansa, and Turner seems very well aware now of the fact that she will most likely be filming some other scenes coming up with Ramsay, and also potentially with Theon a.k.a. Reek discussing everything that happened.
