‘Call the Midwife’ season 4, episode 7 preview (PBS): Switched at birth and other conflicts

Call the Midwife -Let’s face it: We have all seen plenty of movies and TV shows over the years where babies being switched out are a key storyline. Heck, there is even a show all about it over on ABC Family that handles it in a pretty fascinating way.

Luckily, “Call the Midwife” is going to do something pretty similar on the next new episode airing on PBS. Without giving away too much at this particular moment, let us go ahead and remind you that one of the biggest stories here is going to revolve around what happens when this happens within the world of Nonnatus House. On the surface, it appears like this would be a pretty easy problem to solve. However, you will figure out not too long after it that this problem is going to be a whole lot more complicated than it first seems. There will be at least one major twist in here that rocks you to your TV-viewing core.

We’re going to save most of our larger teasers for next weekend, but here are a pair of other things to expect:

1. If you enjoyed getting a window into the Patsy – Delia plotline, that is going to continue in a big way next week.

2. Also, Fred’s story will continue to build and evolve. We do at times think that he is a forgotten character, but we really do not think that you will be forgetting him for too much longer after you get through this episode.
