‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 21 preview: Could Charlie, Rowena, or someone else die?

What's coming up? -Supernatural” has delivered a wide variety of stories over the years, but there is one thing that it always has us worried about: The fate of its recurring female characters. Typically, they do not last for a very long time. Either they or killed off, or they simply disappear to go do something else for a long time / forever.

Therefore, there are a variety of reasons that we’re afraid going into Wednesday night’s new episode “Dark Dynasty.” First and foremost, we’re concerned for Charlie. Given what she has figured out with the Book of the Damned and Dean’s increasingly-conflicted state, we could see her becoming a quick target. We seriously don’t want to see this happen; Felicia Day has put together here probably our favorite recurring female character in a while, and she is always good for an episode or two a season.

The reason we are probably more worried this time around is just because we’ve seen her even more involved than usual. This is the third time she has surfaced this season, and it is easily the most involved she has ever been in the main story. Sure, we’re also slightly worried for Rowena and a few other people here and there, but we probably have more of an emotional attachment to Day’s character than anyone else … at least at the moment.

Luckily, we’ll find out some answers come Wednesday night. We’re going to have a box of tissues nearby, just in case things do not go in the way in which we hope at present.
