‘Arrow’ / ‘The Flash’ spin-off spoilers: Franz Drameh cast in mysterious role

The majority of the cast for the upcoming “Arrow” / “The Flash” spin-off series is now confirmed, and this means getting the chance to see another potential superhero character we have not seen on television before.

Per a new report coming in from Deadline, British actor Franz Drameh has been cast in a mysterious role as a former athlete-turned mechanic who has been forced to deal with an injury that ruined his playing career. He has an interesting connecting to STAR Labs, and while his alter ego is not known just yet, some rumored names include Black Vulcan and Static. We’ll probably find out at some point over the months ahead. What is rather interesting here is that while The CW was fine with the news getting out about Hawkgirl and Traveler each being a part of this show, they have not been anywhere near as keen on letting people know more about this show.

As of right now, this cast includes these three new characters plus Ray Palmer, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Martin Stein, and a mysterious person to be played by Caity Lotz. It may be Sara Lance, but no one is necessarily saying just yet. The same mystery goes for whether or not Stein is going to have control of Firestorm, given that Robbie Amell’s status in another series beyond his recurring gig now is not confirmed.

This show is currently slated to premiere at midseason; hopefully, we are going to have a whole lot more in the way of news before we make it to that point.
