‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 19 preview: Lily’s story

Over the past several weeks, “Once Upon a Time” has introduced us slowly to the character of Lily. She is an old friend from Emma’s childhood who she once got to know very well right around the time that she stayed with the Snow Queen. This year, we learned for the first time that she is actually the daughter of Maleficent.

So are we about to get more of this story? Based on some of what we are seeing right now, it certainly seems like it. The next new installment of the series is simply titled “Lily,” and for good reason. She is going to be coming into Storybrooke, and will be bringing with her an agenda that certainly makes a great deal of sense.

As you know, the main reason for Lily’s separation from her mother was the action taken by Snow White and Charming; they were selfish, and the thing about selfishness is that it can come back to bite you in a pretty substantial way. Now, Lily wants them punished, and while Emma may have been spending some time fighting with them over what happened, she does not want to see someone else dolling out some violence upon them.

In the end, what we can tell you is that we most likely have a crazy episode ahead that could once again change this story in huge, dramatic ways.
