‘Downton Abbey’ season 6 spoilers: Is Matthew Goode’s run on series over?
Well, we are starting to get a little more information now regarding Goode’s future, and it looks like that you will see him again in season 6. This is according to TVLine, who says that Goode may also find a way to be present again on “The Good Wife,” as well.
We do not imagine that him balancing these two shows will be altogether difficult. “Downton Abbey” is already in the process of filming its new season, and even if Goode doesn’t show up for the rest of this season on “The Good Wife”, production will be starting on a hopeful seventh season around the time that the ITV series is winding down. Therefore, it seems feasible that he can have his fancy political-and-period-drama cake and eat it, too.
What do you think about this news, and do you think that Goode’s character could finally be the one to romance Mary after the Tony Gillingham / Charles Blake debacle of the past two seasons? Definitely want to see Henry Talbot and Lady Mary fall in love. He’s smart, adventurous, and can verbally spar on par with Mary. Would also love to see him continue as Finn Polmar on The Good Wife. Finlicia has great possibilities.
