‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 finale spoilers: Autumn Reeser joins Rachel Bilson

If tonight does mark the series finale for “Hart of Dixie,” at least the writers / producers found a way to sneak in a little “OC” reunion in there for fun. While there is going to be a while lot going on here in between Zoe giving birth and at least one potential wedding, we are also going to see Autumn Reeser and Rachel Bilson together for a scene.

As you can find out over at TVLine, Reeser is going to be stopping by as the new attorney in Bluebell, effectively a George Tucker replacement who has quite a bit in common with Zoe Hart. She is coming down from New York, and plans on staying in the tiny town for a year’s time. She seems to be even more high-strung and fish-out-of-water about it than Zoe first was when she first came down to BlueBell for the first time.

It’s a bummer that this is the last we could end up seeing of her, mostly because of the fact that she could have ended up being a larger character in the fifth season if she was to stay around. For now, though, this should just be a fun little side story to everything else that is going on with this episode.

While there are no specific spoilers out there about the ending of this season, we imagine that it will for the most part be a happy one. No one had any expectation that there would be another season airing after this one, so they planned accordingly. We are going to hear an official decision from The CW in May, but we’re about 90-95% sure this is the end. The only reason we’re holding out hope is because nobody expected “Beauty and the Beast” to be renewed, and it was.
