‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 17 preview: Ed Asner returns, and a hacking scandal emerges

Good Wife -Tonight, “The Good Wife” certainly dipped its toes into a sea of drama,  and also made it clear that many of the husbands and wives on this series are going to constantly find themselves on very different pages. Arguments are common, but this is a complicated world steeped in politics. What else did you really expect to see take place here?

Next week’s new episode will shift the focus at least ever so slightly, and focus more on arguments between co-workers. Also, Ed Asner will be back as the incredibly-offensive Guy, and as a result of that is more than likely to cause terrible trouble to almost everyone he comes into contact with. For more on that, take a look at the synopsis below:

“The partners of Florrick/Agos/Lockhart find themselves at odds when they voice different opinions regarding the company’s future. Also, the firm falls victim to a cyber-hack after it takes on the case of a movie producer whose work is pirated on a peer-to-peer sharing site.”

Ultimately, this episode looks to be a great one, and story-wise, there will at least be some moments that feel like a return to form. With that being said, though, we are not going to sit here and pretend like this episode is not taken from the headlines in a certain way. It’s hard to really think of that cyber-attack story mentioned in the synopsis without the infamous Sony hack coming to mind.
