‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 17 preview: Even more on ‘Savoir Faire’

While there may not be a new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” airing on CBS tonight, there is some more story still to come! Next week, the show picks back up on CBS with “Savoir Faire,” an episode that will revolve around quite a variety of different events.

To us, the major theme of the hour is going to be Sam’s recovery after getting shot on the last episode. Want the good news? He’s getting better! Unfortunately, the bad news is that he is trying to get back into the field long before he really should, given everything that he recently went through. For some more information, just be sure to check out the full synopsis below:

“While the team investigates the death of one of three Afghanistan soldiers who are training in the U.S., they discover two other soldiers are missing and must find them before they’re forced to reveal classified military operations to their captors.  Also, Sam is back to work but his team worries it may be too soon, and Callen realizes he has very little in common with his partner.”

It is hard to really say a whole lot about the first part of the synopsis, mostly because that is standard “NCIS: LA” fare in many ways. Callen’s current struggle, though, may be a little more interesting. These are the sort of stories that remind us why Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J’s characters are at the center of the show, and why they also work so well together the majority of the time.
