‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 13 preview: When will Kaley Cuoco, cast return?

The Big Bang TheoryDue to the schedule in which “The Big Bang Theory” aired this season on CBS, new episodes were front-loaded more than per usual. Why is that? Blame the move to Mondays to accommodate “Thursday Night Football,” which is many ways threw off the entire structure of the season. Personally, we’re still not much of a fan of the switching around, and most of those football games were blowouts.

Anyway, back to the comedy. “The Big Bang Theory” aired the 12th episode of the season tonight, and since they want to save certain episodes until May, there are going to be some breaks throughout the months ahead. Specifically, tonight’s “The Space Probe Disintegration” is the only new episode for the next few weeks. According to the Futon Critic, there are set to be repeats for the next two weeks. Following that, the next new episode should air on Thursday, January 29. The good news? Beginning on this night, you are going to see many episodes airing throughout the month of February due to sweeps. There will most likely be another hiatus in March and possibly in April, since the show wants to also have another run of consecutive episodes in May.

So what could be coming up? Show boss Steve Molaro recently said that there are plans to address the passing of Carol Ann Susi at some point when it is appropriate for the story; as for Penny and Leonard’s future, there are no plans to get them married in the immediate future.

We’ll have some further updates related to the show soon, so stay tuned.
