‘Supernatural’ season 10: Misha Collins celebrates People’s Choice Awards win

Castiel -There were many winners at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night, and not all of them were shown off during the awards show itself. With that being said, that doesn’t make them any less special!

Last night, Misha Collins took home his first-ever trophy for Sci-Fi / Fantasy Actor, and actually beat his own “Supernatural” co-stars in Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles to win it. Bragging rights? Maybe for this year alone. Collins had a funny series of tweets throughout the night leading up to the news about the winners, but once he was eventually declared the champion, he shared the following messages on Twitter.

Collins has many more stories still to tell on “Supernatural,” and is going to play a very important part in the season moving forward trying to help Dean solve his current Mark of Cain crisis. This is not going to be an easy situation to solve, but we like to think that Castiel is fairly resourceful these days.

As a whole, “Supernatural” still seems to be going strong a full decade into the show, and this is the second straight season that Misha has been a series regular. Hopefully, that is a tradition that will remain through the rest of the series; we know that this show carries a small cast, but he and Mark Sheppard are great additions when we do get to see them more than just an episode or two here or there. The show returns to The CW on Tuesday, January 20, and so from that point on, we expect quite a bit of each one of them to surface at some point.
