ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Suits,’ ‘Firefly’ actress Gina Torres books role

Anytime that we get to see Gina Torres acting on another TV show, we are happy. Therefore, it is easy to say that we are rather elated that we are going to be seeing her in at least one other show coming up other than “Suits.”

According to a new report from TVLine, Torres has signed up for an important part on “Revenge” season 4 as Natalie Walsh, an aspiring socialite who, despite humble beginnings, has worked hard to get into high society. Also, she may have an ax to grind with at least one of the show’s other important characters.

While this is still somewhat of a mysterious casting, we’re happy just because Gina is involved. It’s pretty hard to be upset when you consider her overall body of work. “Firefly” is obviously what first drew us to her work, but we also liked her guest spot on “Castle” as a reality star involved in a murder investigation.

While “Revenge” has been somewhat uneven this season, they have done a good job with the guest casting. We do add the dynamic that Louise has brought to the table, and we’re a big fan of Tommy Flanagan’s. Therefore, we are very interested in seeing just what he ends up bringing to the show as feared villain Malcolm Black. During the winter finale, Emily took down his daughter, who was played pretty effortlessly by Courtney Ford for a few episodes in the first half of the season.
