NBC’s ‘The Voice’ rankings: Looking at Matt McAndrew, Taylor Phelan, Chris Jamison, Team Adam Levine

Adam Levine -Now that we’re at a point on “The Voice” where we finally know who every contestant is, we are able to move on to something that we are extremely excited about: The official rankings! We’ll be doing one of these for each team going into the Live Playoffs.

For Team Adam Levine, we have a pretty interesting mix of artists, but to go along with that, we also have a few people who could make it very far and even win the competition. The only worry we could see with this group is that there may not be anyone with a huge, dynamic personality, but they’ll probably make up for that with what they bring on the stage.

5. Damien – He would probably by ranked third or fourth on another team, but we just don’t see him getting a ton of votes from America. For some reason, contestants with an alias or one name (save for maybe Xenia) don’t have the best history on the show.

4. Mia Pfirrman – A very good Blind Audition and Battle Round were marred slightly by a Knockout Round performance that was a little too dramatic for its own good. She has to really prove herself early in the next round.

3. Taylor Phelan – He has a little bit of an underdog status that stems primarily from him getting the Steal, but this guy is crazy-good and also crazy-creative. He is worth watching as we get into the next rounds.

2. Chris Jamison – While we haven’t seen all of the same uber-creativity from him as other people on this team, he has a smooth, buttery voice that draws you in and makes you never want to leave. He will still out in the next part of the competition.

1. Matt McAndrew – A personal favorite of ours from the Blind Audition onward. Matt didn’t have a full Knockout performance shown (read more about that here), but we’ve seen everything from him now that includes great vocals, creativity, and a personality that should shine through the clutter of the live shows.
