‘Shark Tank’ review: BeardBrand, Myself Belts, SingTrix, Titin, and Grace & Lace

The latest -Tonight, “Shark Tank” brought a variety of different products to the table once again, with them including everything from fitness equipment to beard products and so much more.

If you’ve been to the site before, then you really know how this goes. All of our quick-takes on the products include links to where you can see them on the internet, and maybe even pick up one of your own.

Titin – This is an interesting story. We do not doubt that this is a pretty effective product to a certain extent, but we feel like the average fitness guru is not going to buy this. They are going to simply do other things. We actually think that Robert Herjavec’s point is best: We don’t know who this is best marketed to.

Yet, there were still some offers that came in on the product! The one that Titin really wanted and ultimately got was from Daymond John. We feel like this will continue to make money, and it has the right guy on board. we don’t have to like the product to feel like it was a good investment. Deal with Daymond.

BeardBrand – Fun, but worthy of an investment? We actually liked the pitch a good bit, and while we don’t have a beard, if we did, we’d probably want something like this. However, we don’t, and the only issue we feel is present here is that there is only so big this can go. You’re catering to a small percentage of men who not only have beards, but want to care for them. No deal.

SingTrix – The karaoke wonder, but possibly also the karaoke blunder. With their valuation, and also with their defiance to really negotiate that much more than $1.5 million fro 7%, they didn’t come close to a deal even if there was interest there. We love the product in theory (though the price is a little steep); we just almost get the sense that they didn’t really care about an investment so much as just getting the exposure that the TV show brings. No deal.

Myself Belts – An interesting idea for children. We don’t love the fact that the sales have not grown in the past few years, and we didn’t like all the recession talk in here, either as an excuse. Still, this was a move that was good for all parties involved. Daymond found something that he knew he could make easy money from, and it is going to be better for her in the long run to have given a portion of the company up. Deal with Daymond.
