‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 6 preview: Why does Belle want to see the Snow Queen?

Almost everything when it comes to “Once Upon a Time” seems to be connected in one way or another, so it really should not be much of a shock that there is a connection between Belle and the Snow Queen, either.

What is it? That is something that we are still trying to figure out a little bit of. In the sneak peek below, you can see Emilie de Ravin’s character show that whatever her secret is with this woman, she is so desperate to keep it hidden that she is willing to make some pretty big moves. This includes trying to use the dagger on Rumpelstiltskin in order to hunt down the Snow Queen for her.

The problem here is an obvious one: Belle doesn’t actually have the dagger. Instead, she has some fake gussied-up to look like a version of the real thing. The only way that Rumple is going to be able to keep this a secret at this point is if he chooses to go along with whatever she wants for now, acting like he is completely under her spell. This may be the only alternative, so he has to weigh what his options are.

In the end, here, we’re sure that whatever he does, he will do it so that he can emotionally manipulate her to the best of her ability. Do we think that Rumple loves his wife? Sure, but he loves power, and he will do whatever he can in order to hold onto that.
