‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 5 spoilers: ‘Breaking Glass,’ and more Giancarlo Esposito

Once -Anytime that we can have more of Giancarlo Esposito on a show, we are going to be very happy … even if he is not playing Gus Fring.

Sidney Glass on “Once Upon a Time” is an interesting character in his own right, and we’re glad to have some further confirmation today that he will be appearing in “Breaking Glass,” the new episode airing on ABC next week.

As if this was not exciting enough in its own right, we also have some other welcome news to report right now: There are going to be some flashbacks in this hour for a character that is not a “Frozen” character for a change. Maybe these will allow us to see a further connection between her and the Snow Queen, who seems to have it in for her to a certain extent.

For a few more details now, take a look at the “Breaking Glass” synopsis below via ABC:

“Regina reluctantly teams up with Emma to search for the Snow Queen after Sidney, who is once again Regina’s prisoner in the mirror, discovers her whereabouts and agrees to lead her to the location. With Belle babysitting baby Neal, a nervous Mary Margaret and David prepare for their first date night away from their child and find themselves on a mission to track down Will Scarlet, who has escaped from the town jail, and Elsa sees Anna in the Storybrooke woods. Meanwhile, back in the past, young Emma finds herself a kindred spirit when she befriends a girl who, like her, is a runaway orphan.”

This episode sounds exciting, largely because everyone seems to have something interesting to do. Plus, we’re glad to see more of Regina again, given that her story has been extremely marginalized the past few weeks.
