‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 3 video: A painful Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles scene
After watching the sneak peek below for Tuesday night’s “Supernatural” episode, one thing is pretty clear to us: You may need a hankie nearby for all the “feels” that this is likely to give you.
Basically, the fun, games, and karaoke sessions for Demon Dean seem to be over, and Sam has to figure out how to bring his brother back into the world before his dark side and the Mark of Cain completely take over. Dean snaps at Sam repeatedly in here, blames him for the death of their mother, and completely insults their father in every way possible. He also insinuates that Sam isn’t even a man.
First of all, there’s some great acting from Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles in here. Given how long these two guys have embodied these two characters over the years, this had to be a pretty hard scene for them to play. Also, there’s another interesting wrinkle in here when it comes to timing. This was actually the first episode of season 10 that was filmed to accommodate some schedules, and Jensen had to direct some really tough scenes in here before the rest of the story had even played out in front of the camera lens.
Luckily, we’ve seen enough from Jensen as director over the years to feel pretty confident about one thing: His ability to do a heck of a job in a story like this.
We’re going to have even more scoop about this and other episodes over the course of the next few days, so stay tuned!

I love this change up. This show does not let grass grow under its feet. That said, when they do get back to being caring and sharing bros, let it last longer then a few episodes. A good year of the season 1 brothers like interaction would be nice for a bit. But no rush, this is just as impelling.
