‘The Mentalist’ season 7 spoilers: Another new episode title!
There have not been many updates as of late when it comes to “The Mentalist,” but how does the latest episode-title update sound?
In a new post on Twitter via writer-producer Jordan Harper (see below), “Copper Bullets” is the title for the ninth episode of the season. We kind of like this one, mostly because it has an ominous sound to it. Sometimes, these color-themed installments can look a little cheesy on paper, but this one serves as an exception to the rule.
One other thing that it is important to remember here, especially since it is quite frankly so easy to forget, is that there are only 13 episodes for this season. With that in mind, this episode may actually be even more important to the story than you would think on paper. We’re going to be building to a series finale, and while this show is mostly procedural, we did see a willingness to shake things up a little bit with the sixth season. (While CBS has not confirmed that this is the final season on paper, the writing on the wall here still seems to be more or less clear.)
Unfortunately, there is also not an official premiere date just yet for the rest of “The Mentalist,” either. Our guess? At least for now, it is that the show will probably come back on the air in January or March. It won’t be February, mostly because launching a show in that time period is a little too tough.
