‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: ‘Parental Guidance Suggested,’ Halloween, Tony’s love life, and more
The October 28 episode of “NCIS” is entitled “Parental Guidance Suggested,” and after reading the official synopsis as released by CBS, it may be the strangest combination of seemingly-unrelated things that we’ve ever seen.
Let’s just list off some of the individual elements that we’re going to see in here. Will there be a murder case? Sure, but there are also ties to terrorism, discussions about Halloween, and the latest in the complicated personal life of Tony DiNozzo. Hopefully, this does not come in the same form that it did during Tuesday night’s “Choke Hold,” which felt like the character was trying a little too hard. Use the brakes, Tony! It’s better when you’re not so forward with it.
Anyhow, here is the official synopsis as released by CBS:
“The NCIS team must determine if the murder of a Navy commander’s wife is linked to her profession as a therapist or an act of terrorism after finding the commander’s name on a Jihadist target list. Meanwhile, the team discusses Halloween costumes and Tony’s recent dating habits.”
This is the episode featuring Marisol Nichols as ATF Special Agent Zoe Keates, who could end up being a possible love interest in the way that Leia Pendergast was in this past episode. With that being said, there really isn’t a whole lot of other information known about her just yet. Maybe that will change as we get a little bit closer to this particular story airing. Stay tuned for more!

I just don’t want Tony to be a flirt so much anymore. He’s too old for that now. If Cote isn’t returning they should pair him up with someone closer to his age that has a no-nonsense grounding effect on him like Jeanne and Ziva did. That being said – keep the romances as a minor part of the episode.

From what I’ve read elsewhere, this is to be yet another Gibbs centric episode, featuring Gibbs tragic past and his near magical connection with children. Seems to me they’re just spoiling Tony business to garner viewers. Wonder if McGee will be put in danger this week since he always has to have more significance to the case than Tony these days. It sounds as if Tony will yet again be no more than comic fodder while Gibbs walks on water. So original.
