‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s awkward moment in Spain

Jaime and Brienne -Game of Thrones” has been filming season 5 in a variety of different locations, but one of the most-notable ones now is at the Spanish Alcázar Palace in Seville. This is going to be the setting of Dorne, home of Prince Oberyn Martell and many of his other family members.

It also manages to have the distinction of being a place that something else of great interest happened: Where series star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was accidentally charged in order to enter his own filming occasion. This is something that was widely reported overseas, especially due to the extremely cool way that the actor handled it. Rather than trying to demand his way in or call someone’s boss, he instead went, purchased a ticket like anyone else, and then went inside. Granted, he has the money, but that was still something he certainly did not have to do.

So what are we going to see from Jaime on season 5 of the show? Hopefully, it is going to be something very interesting. On the fourth season of the show, we had some rather polarizing moments with the character … namely that scene with Cersei at Joffrey’s dead body that seemed to turn around years of character development. Hopefully, this was just a bump in the road for some very cool things that are still coming on the show the rest of the way.

There’s no firm premiere date yet for the fifth season of “Game of Thrones,” but for the time being, we would say to expect it to hit TV in late March / early April.

“Game of Thrones” is going to continue filming for quite a few months moving forward, and you’ll be able to see many more stories on the subject over at this link.
