‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 premiere: See Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, and first 4 minutes

Walking Dead Poster -Even though AMC by no means needed to release the first four minutes of the upcoming season 5 premiere of “The Walking Dead” (we imagine that they will be getting more than plenty viewers regardless), they decided to go ahead and be extra-nice today. After all, we’ve got the first few minutes of the episode below for your viewing pleasure!

The story of this video is pretty easy to describe: Hell for just about everyone involved. Rick and company are still in the train car, at least until they are eventually hauled out thanks to a gas, knocked out, and then dragged somewhere else. Is this where their bodies are carved up for meat? It may sound disgusting and it probably is, but that may not be that far off of a guess right now.

It feels like the setting of this video is somewhat familiar, and that makes us wonder at least a little bit about whether or not this is going to be the location of that epic fight scene with Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, and more that we saw in some of the early trailers for the new season. We hope so, mostly because that was all sorts of awesome and we would love to start off the season with a shock.

Believe us when we say that this will. While the sneak peek gives away a few minutes of the action, it is the two or three that come up after this sneak peek that will really have quite a few folks out there staying up at night.

For now, let us know what you think about these first four minutes in the comments! Also, be sure to sign up to score some further TV updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo via AMC.)
