ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 4 preview: Kerry Washington and the Olivia / Fitz standoff
We start this preview for “Scandal” with what we feel is a little bit of episode-title controversy. The fourth episode of the season airing next week was originally titled “The Bleep,” but for some reason, this was changed a little later to “Like Father, Like Daughter.” To us, this makes us feel so much more like we are going to have an Olivia-and-Rowan episode in a big way. (Interestingly, this is also a title for an episode of “Castle” that aired on ABC last season.)
Before we do much else here, let’s go ahead and share the official synopsis below:
“Fitz asks Olivia to shut down a situation that could destroy the Grant family’s reputation. Meanwhile, Rowan calls on an old friend to do his dirty work.”
The big reveal at the end of the episode tonight was that Rowan was the responsible part for the death of Harrison, but it certainly does not look he is going away anytime soon. There is still work to be done in Washington, and some of it will put Olivia in a place where she did not imagine that she would be a little while ago: Back at the White House. This episode is going to have the confrontation you have been waiting for, so how can you not be remotely excited by that? Maybe Olivia will spill the beans on where she’s been, but either way, we have what looks to be a shocking out of entertainment right in front of us.
Let’s just hope the trajectory here stays strong.

I’m not a fan of Olitz but I am looking forward to how Olivia handles Fitz’ questions. What she does with her time and her body is none of his business. He needs to spend that energy on his wife and children.

I would love to see Olivia and Fritz get together again. It just makes sense
since they are both in love with each other enough of trying to fight the outcome they belong together.
