‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Naya Rivera’s latest tease may set fandoms ablaze

Did Naya Rivera just give longtime “Glee” fans a reason for their hearts to be a little faster? We can at least say “yes” to that, but who knows? Maybe the tweet below is some sort of misdirection.

You don’t have to think very much at all to imagine what Naya could be talking about here. Every wants to see her character of Santana together with Brittany, and when the dust ultimately settles, it is not exactly easy to think of another possible ending of her story that would satisfy anyone in the fandom. If Santana was to propose, it would give them a chance to have a storybook ending by around the time the series finale aired.

Also, remember here that both are seemingly going to be in a position to be together when the season starts (whenever that is). Brittany’s personal life was not discussed too much last season, but we assume that she is single now. Meanwhile, that relationship that Santana had with Demi Lovato’s Dani was almost completely nonexistent, and completely disappeared during season 5 without explanation. That, the more we think of it, was really just stunt casting with no regard for story whatsoever.

As for some other long-running “Glee” relationships like Kurt and Blaine, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Then again, the same goes for Santana and Brittany; it’s always possible that this “question” is about a completely separate thing.
