‘Mistresses’ season 3 spoilers: What to expect (pending renewal news)
Tonight, “Mistresses” airs its season finale over on ABC, and the first thing that we have to say right now is that you really better not hope that this is the series finale to go along with it. The show has not been renewed yet, and it is possible that it may not be given that the ratings are a tick down from last year, and they were never that good to begin with.
Personally, we’d keep the show around, if for no other reason than that it has the makings of a DVR warrior, and it is also very popular online. These things do matter, especially when ABC’s new series this summer have been mostly a complete disaster.
As for what we would see in a third season, the biggest thing is just the show continuing to do some of what it does best: Provide juicy storylines that include hookups, tears, splits, and much more. Even if Joss actually does get married, do you think that Harry is completely out of the picture? One thing that would definitely not surprise us would be if she became a mistress of a different sort soon if she actually does get married. Update: Our prediction was a little off here! Joss and Harry are seemingly together now after she ran off from her wedding, but will they be happy? That’s another question.
As we’ve said before, it is hard to see a show like this necessarily having an enormous shelf life, if for no other reason than that it would make things look a little too over-the-top if the women all held true to the title forever. There needs to at some point be a place where the characters can be happy, and having them be constantly distraught for too long may diminish the shock value of the show that it uses so successfully.

I bet Karen is pregnant and cant be certain who the father is. I’m heartbroken fot Scott though but how could Joss resist Harry. Sav should stick with Zac. Glad about April and Daniel. Love the show. Its so diffetent to all the crime and syfy out there. ABC better renew. You keep canelling great shows and not giving them a chance., eg Jane by Design and The Lying Game

I would love to see a third juicy season. A twist could be that Joss was simply dreaming about Harry on the beach and she actually went ahead and married Scott all the while having feelings for Harry. Or she and Harry still in love in season 3 but not together because of Savi drama. She could end up pregant with Harry’s child and think it is Scotts since Harry was unable to have children. Or Joss and Harry may carry on a secret affair though not knowing that Savi has seen them. There are so many possibilities for season 3 with all the 4 + 1 (Harry) characters next season – please please renew!

It would be great if it came back, but if it didn’t, I wouldn’t really miss it. It’s entertaining, but not fabulous. It’s pretty predictable – I know most television is but this is a bit more so. You could see the tension between Joss and Harry from the first season.
If they decided not to give it another full season, maybe a few episodes just to tie up the loose ends would be nice. Let’s see, Savi back with Dom, Karen together with Jacob (I think that’s his name), Joss with Harry and April with Daniel and her daughter over the death of her father.

I would like 3rd season so much! I’m from Poland, but i can watch “Mistresses” online with scripts and I always couldn’t wait for new episode. After shows, which didn’t back (like Hellcats) I’m really dissappointed, that some great shows end in turning point.

PIease please pppppllllleeeeeaaaassseeeee bring back a season 3. And soon. I absolutely llloveee this show. Best ever! I can’t go without it. I have watched since day one. Please put Joss and Harry together and let them be happy without destroying the sister bond.. it’s the only reason I love Monday. Karen should have a baby and finally be happy. Please at least give us a season 3 with a happy Instead of leaving us on a huge cliffhanger. Please I want more!

PLEASE I BEG OF YOU… bring season 3 to us.. This is a great show I want to at least see a season that will show us the outcome of each storyline, Then you can end it if you Must!!! This has been the only decent show on tv this summer.(i dont do cable)

I would definitely watch a third season! I think the Joss & Harry storyline is the best yet! I loved the season finale & can’t wait to see what happens next. Please renew this show for a third season. I too agree that shows are cancelled before they really have a chance. Some of the most memorable sitcoms were almost cancelled.

All of the good shows have good titles like the client list,desperate housewives,devious maids
I love this show and its the only thing i love watching while my husband is at work
Its ver entertaining and i would be disappointed if its not brought back especially on how it ends…we as an audience deserve a hell if an ending

it has to come back, it’s actually a really good show and keeps you wanting more, of course as said above someone needs to ultimately be happy and mistresses was probably not the greatest name but I’m addicted and I hope season 3 is in the making!!

I would be upset if it didn’t come back. It really is a great job and after tonight’s finale we need a season 3 to find out how this craziness is going to end. Another thing that never made sense to me is the name of the show Mistresses. That is a turn off to a lot of people. No one is a mistress. ABC is good for setting shows up to fail.
