‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Meet the latest new face

While you’ve heard a lot about a notable departure from the “Pretty Little Liars” cast this week (at least in terms of their character being alive), we do come today bearing some news about someone who will be joining the cast of the living.

Per a report from SpoilerTV, Miranda Mayo of “The Game” has landed a recurring role on the drama, and will be playing specifically the part of Talia. She is a chef who clashes at first with Emily (Shay Mitchell), and it sounds like things for the two of them are going to get so much worse before they ever get better.

You are going to have an opportunity to first see Mayo at some point in the second half of the season, which technically starts with the Christmas Special in December. However, this feels more to us like a part that will be in the winter season starting in January; we feel like Christmas will be more about the people we know than trying to introduce a whole flurry of new ones.

The priorities for all of the Liars are going to be very mixed-up and complicated almost straight out of the gate. They are going to have to figure out not only if Alison Dilaurentis is “A,” but also if she is the responsible party for Mona’s death. The show certainly made it seem that way, almost on a too-obvious level.
