‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Tulisa, Paula Abdul, more to mentor at judges’ houses
For some reason, we feel like “The X Factor” is far superior to “The Voice” when it comes to bringing in celebrity advisers. Maybe it is all because the judges’ houses are such a more comfortable environment, or maybe it is because they actually may have some further input when it comes to who stays and who guys.
According to Metro, we now know for certain which celebrities are going to be taking part in this stage of the competition this year … and it includes some pretty predictable names based on what we’ve been hearing in the past few weeks. First, click here to see the announcement of all the pairings.
- The groups this year will be mentored by Louis Walsh, and they will head off to Bermuda where they will meet with him and former judge Tulisa. This is a comeback of sorts for the singer, who has dealt with a legal scandal and other headlines recently.
- Simon Cowell will take the overs to Las Vegas, where he will meet up with his ex and longtime friend Sinitta and also former “American Idol” / “X Factor” judge Paula Abdul. It’s always nice to see Simon and Paula back together again!
- Mel B will take the boys to Mexico, where their adviser will be a man who is currently on the rise in Jason Derulo.
- Finally, Cheryl Cole and the girls will head to the South of France, where they will meet another female superstar in Sia.
We do like some of the synergy here, at least in that there is a good connection between every guest and the respective category that should make them qualified to offer good advice.
