‘Supernatural’ season 10 video: Take an ultimate look back before premiere

We have to give it to the folks at The CW right now: They really know how to promote the heck out of an upcoming “Supernatural” season. It’s been ten years since Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles first graced our small screen as Sam and Dean Winchester, and we’re getting closer to the big 200th episode.

With that in mind, the video below is the ultimate retrospective. While there is no way that you can adequately sum up ten years of insanely fun television in just ten minutes, this video below really gives it the best effort possible. You see images from the show’s humble beginnings, appearances from many beloved characters like Charlie, Bobby, and Crowley, the debut of Castiel, and so much more. There are villains, heroes, the Men of Letters, purgatory, and so much more crammed in here. Ultimately, it shows us just how far we’ve come … but also how much further the boys need to go to finish a quest that may be impossible to actually finish at the same time.

So where do we go from here? Think along the lines of Demon Dean first and foremost, since this terrifying version of Ackles’ character is the show’s biggest cliffhanger and asset right now. There are of course many other things worth looking forward to when it comes to returning guest stars (Jody Mills!) and the aforementioned milestone episode, but more scoop on that will come in due time.
