‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8: Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Jim Parsons updates
While you wait for “The Big Bang Theory” season 8 to premiere on CBS this September, why not check out what some of its stars are up to right now?
Let’s start here with the news coming from Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar; the actors behind Howard and Raj are going to be heading to Edmonton! The two will be appearing at the Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo, which will be taking place from September 26-28. (Specifically, the two will be appearing on the 27th.) They will be joined there by some other big names from the TV world, including J. August Richards from “Agents of SHIELD” along with other names to be announced a little later.
As for some other news, would you be surprised by Eugenie Bouchard’s guest at Wimbledon earlier this week? It was none other than Jim Parsons! The actor and man behind Dr. Sheldon Cooper is a huge tennis fan, and he was even invited to watch her take part. Just take a look at what Jim said in an interview with ESPN:
“(Bouchard) played her first professional Wimbledon last year, and her manager contacted my manager, and apparently she watches ‘Big Bang,’ and he knew I was a fan of tennis and he said, ‘Is there any chance Jim could come to Wimbledon? He could sit in the players’ box with us.'”
It’s a pretty cool story that Jim showed up and even took a picture with Bouchard, and that it didn’t impact her performance in the tournament at all. Jim also realizes that he probably only has a little time left to enjoy all of these sorts of events, given that filming for season 8 will start up a little this summer.
