‘Big Brother 16’ houseguest spotlight: Can Hayden Voss pedal his way to victory?

When we first saw the name “Hayden Voss” on a “Big Brother” cast list, we were pretty quick to think that this is some sort of typo. Instead, there is actually a “Hayden Voss” on this season, and he looks like the love child of Hayden Moss and David Girton. He looks like a surfer, but he’s actually more of a runner / swimmer. He’s athletic, likable, and seems to enjoy having a good time.

But in addition to all of that, this feels like a guy who could make a little bit of noise in the game if he is given the right opportunity to do so.

Age – 21

Location – Long Beach, California

Occupation – Pedicab driver

Strengths – He is very athletic, but with his look and attitude he will probably not be the first guy out there targeted as a physical threat. Instead, he may be able to coast for a few weeks until people start to catch up on how good he could actually be in some of the competitions. He ultimately seems open to almost anything, provided that it helps him to win in the end.

Weaknesses – The biggest thing that we feel like Hayden is probably going to struggle with this season is just his age. At 21, he’s the baby of the season, and is also very likely to be manipulated by many of the women in the house. You can be single, but we wouldn’t be “ready to mingle” (as Jeff Schroeder puts it). You want to let things come to you rather than proactively seek something.

Past houseguest comparison – Hayden Moss actually is a pretty good comparison here, especially when you look at their attitudes and way they want to play the game. We’d also throw in there a little bit of Frank Eudy, but Hayden doesn’t seem to be as competitive.

Prediction – Hayden will not be the first guy out of the game, since he’s not going to be as crazy as David was in showmancing the most-hated person in the game. Instead, he will last for a few weeks, and then probably go home around sixth or seventh once some of the bigger threats are gone.
